Fall 2022 High School Sailing - F10,, F11, F12
1. Congrats to St. Georges who ended up on the podium at the Fall ACCs held last weekend in Annapolis, MD. Barrington HS, Sharon HS, and Lincoln Academy also represented NESSA in this regatta. For a complete report, click here.
2. And, good luck to the three NESSA schools (Cape Cod Academy, Portland HS, and Martha's Vineyard RHS) headed to this weekend's ISSA Great Oak Regatta.
3. The Minutes from the 2022 NESSA Annual Meeting are posted on the NESSA Website
Besides the various reports, there are three specific items to report.
- Sharon HS sailing team was awarded the Stephen B. Leslie Trophy for the manner in which they ran the 2022 NIT.
- NESSA District Rule changes:
- Article O - Team Scoring Penalties and Article P - Combined Regattas were removed b/c they are redundant.
- The first sentence of article K (e) of the district rules was changed to read “Schools must sail at least eight (8) ten (10) scheduled meets prior to the Championship.”
