Fall ACCs: A belated congrats to St George's School who secured the second of NESSA's four berths at the Fall ACCs with their win at the Arnold Brown Regatta two weekends ago. The last two ACC berths can be earned at this Saturday's NESSA Fall Funfest for the Wally Gleekman Trophy. Good luck to all the teams competing.
HEALY: Over the weekend, Hyannis YC planned host to the NESSA Singlehanded Championship (Healy Trophy). Twelve races were sailed over two days in a variety of conditions. Congratulations to Ben Shepard (Brunswick School) and Cal Kinnear (The Hotchkiss School) for winning their respective divisions.. Girls Intersectional: MASSA is hosting a one-division girls regatta at Georgetown University November 5-6. School interested should read the NOR posted on the MASSA Schedule Page
Regatta Fees: The only way to pay regatta fees for any NESSA Regatta is through the NESSA PayPal Portal. If you have registered for the NESSA Fall Funfest, the NESSA Great Oaks Qualifier, or the NESSA National Keelboat Invitational qualifir, your regattas fees must be paid before your registration is complete.
Tech Score: ISSA uses Tech Score for all of its regattas Each school has an account.
If you are new to your school, you should find out who had access to your account last year and get the log in credentials. If you need to set up an account, the directions are at the bottom of the Tech Score page.
It is the responsibility of each school to make sure that their sailors are listed in the ISSA/NESSA data base correctly and that they are entered properly on the Race Participation forms for each regatta. Failure to do so is +20 pt. penalty per division.
If you host an event that has non-Member organization competing, it is your responsibility to enter the RP information, since the non-member organizations do not have Tech Score accounts.
Membership: To compete in any High School regatta, your school must be an active member. For this still "pending" or "inactive," a quick reminder on how you become "active."
Dues must be paid in full before a school can compete in a High School Regatta.
All dues must be paid by the Annual Meeting. Failure to meet that deadline will affect your school's ability to participate in NESSA Championship regattas.
