Spring 2023 High School Sailing - S7

Site Assignments for the O'Day and Herreshoff have been posted by the NESSA Vice-Presidents. Questions, comments, or concerns can be directed to them.

There are several NESSA District Rules and ISSA Procedure Rules that need to be completed before sailing in either of these events,
  1. Schools listed in Green have crossed the "three meet/regatta" threshold as outlined in District Rule Article K, section 2(d)
  2.
  3. In accordance with District Rule Article L,
    • Schools have until 0930 on Thursday May 11, 2023, to withdrawal from the O'Day without penalty.
    • Schools have until 0930 on Thursday May 25, 2023, to withdrawal from the Herreshoff without penalty.
  4. In accordance with District Rule Article M,
    • Brunswick is responsible for returning the O'Day Trophy to the venue.
    • St George's is responsible for returning the Herreshoff Trophy to the venue.
  5. Many rules and regulations that surround the running of a fleet racing regatta are outlined in the ISSA Procedural Rules.  It is important that all coaches and sailors review these PRs prior to the regatta to ensure that everyone understands their responsibilities. If you have questions, ask your league representative.
  6.
  7. In accordance with ISSA PR 1.2 (a), your database must be up to date before competing in any HS regatta,
  8.
  9. Tech Score requires a separate log in credentials.  There is one set per school.  If you are a returning coach, please check that your credential is working right now.  If you are a new coach, please get the credentials from last year's coach asap.  Tech Score takes time to set up, so if you wait until the day before the regatta, you will be unhappy, and it could cost your team.
